Terms of Use — Realm

Realm is operated by Elegance Labs Inc. By downloading, installing, or using the Realm application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at az@elegancelabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Text Messaging Terms

Realm uses SMS to send one-time account verification codes when you request them. If you separately opt in by checking a Realm SMS consent box, you also agree to receive recurring automated marketing and onboarding text messages from Realm about app download links, product updates, and ways to use AI in group chats.

Message frequency varies. Marketing and onboarding messages may be sent up to 4 times per month.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from future text messages. Reply HELP for help.
Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase or use of Realm.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI-Generated Content

Content in the App — including news summaries, articles, videos, and chat responses — is generated by artificial intelligence. This content:

May contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
Is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
Does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Should be independently verified before being relied upon.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others.
Circumvent any authentication or security measures.

User Content

Content you provide — such as your display name, profile photo, and messages — remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and deliver it within the App for the purpose of operating the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and AI-generated content (excluding your personal data) are owned by or licensed to Realm. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

Some features of the App use credits. New accounts receive a one-time allotment of free credits. You can obtain additional credits in two ways:

Realm Plus — an auto-renewable subscription that grants a monthly allotment of credits (currently 2,000 credits each month) for the price shown on the subscription screen at the time of purchase (currently US$20.00 per month, or the equivalent in your local currency). The subscription has a duration of one month.
Extra Credits — a one-time, non-renewing purchase that adds credits to your account (currently 1,000 credits) for the price shown at the time of purchase (currently US$10.00, or the equivalent in your local currency).

The following terms apply to purchases made through the Apple App Store:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
A Realm Plus subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings on the App Store at any time after purchase. Canceling stops future renewals; the current period continues until it expires.
Any unused portion of a free credit allotment or free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription that includes that content.

About credits. Credits have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable. Monthly subscription credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over; Extra Credits do not expire while your account remains active. Except where required by law, purchases and credits are non-refundable, and credits already granted are not refunded if you cancel or your subscription lapses. Pricing, credit amounts, and included features may change; changes apply on a going-forward basis and, for subscriptions, take effect on your next renewal.

Purchases are processed by Apple and are also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. Your purchase and use of the App are also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realm and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Apple App Store

For users who download Realm from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA") applies to your license to use the iOS app. These Terms apply to your use of the Realm service, account, content, and related features. To the extent these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA regarding your license to the iOS app, the Apple EULA controls.

These Terms are between you and Elegance Labs Inc. only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The following applies when you obtain the App through the Apple App Store:

Elegance Labs, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App.
Your license to use the App is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to a warranty are the sole responsibility of Elegance Labs.
Elegance Labs, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, claims under consumer-protection or privacy law, and any claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
